Parents Orientation-2018-19

Parent’s Orientation Program was conducted at HIS, Karapakkam on 5th, 6th and 7th April,2018. New, Existing and Kindergarten Parents attended the program enthusiastically and expectantly. Through a PPT they went through the overall academic year activities, competitions, Events and upcoming new ventures.

Ms.Iris Theodore, Principal of HIS, Karapakkam gave a warm welcome to the new families joining Hindustan International School, Karapakkam for the year 2018-2019. She said, “I can certainly sympathize with the expectation and uncertainties generated by coming to a new school, meeting new friends and for some of you, living in a new country. The faculty and staff of our School are aware of this, and will make every effort to make your family’s transition and adjustment to the school and its community as smooth as possible. This is very important to us because we recognize that your child’s positive adaptation to HIS, Karapakkam will mean a successful year for all”.

A Special session on Special Services ( Counselling & Special Education) being provided at our Campus was conducted for all the parents in detail about child’s emotional disabilities, learning difficulties etc . Mrs.Revathi, our student counselor explained different methods and strategies which will help the child to perform well and have a holistic development.

As a support to enhance the academic performance of our students special classes on Foundation Course (NEET/JEE/ KVPY) for Grade 6 to 10 have been introduced from this academic year 2018-19. Mr. Nikhil from EDU briefed the parents on the details of the course.
